GRIFFINS PUMPING GAS EVENT A HUGE HIT!

In March, 14 members of the Grand Rapids Griffins hockey team filled tanks instead of nets as part of an inaugural “Pumping Gas” fundraiser at three local Marathon / J & H Family Stores locations. For three hours during the afternoon and evening, a voluntary donation was accepted for “full service” from the hockey players, with the proceeds designated for D.A. Blodgett-St. John’s, a charity benefitting local children. The total raised throughout the night exceeded $900! Thank you to all who contributed!
